Porter

Full-time

REQUIRES VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND THE USE OF YOUR OWN VEHICLE.

Keeps premises of shopping center or other commercial / institutional buildings; including walkways, medians, common areas, parking lots and all public areas; in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Blow sidewalks, including the base of the building walls and all curb bases, keeping them free of trash and debris.
• Remove cigarette butts from ash urns.
• Wipe waist high exterior window mullions of all vacant stores with a dry rag weekly and blow off bottom ones with your blower.
• Sweep and pick up trash from driveways, alleys and parking lots.
• Pick up loose trash including cigarette butts in all landscaped areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace all receptacles with new liners.
• Wipe down and scrape off trash receptacle lids daily.
• Transport trash and waste and dispose of in dumpster, unless too large, too heavy and/or too much for one person to handle. Call supervisor if this happens.
• Pick up loose trash and debris around dumpsters and place in dumpster.
• Push grocery carts to proper location or as directed by supervisor.
• Remove cards and stickers left on vacancy doors and windows and remove signs stuck in landscaping.
• Check all vacant store doors for security, and lock if needed.
• Immediately report security or emergency situations to supervisor and security officer. This would include break-ins, broken/open windows/doors.
• Completes a weekly property report advising condition of site.
• May be asked to perform other cleaning/maintenance tasks for a particular property.

Qualifications to perform this job successfully:

Must be able to tell time, to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s. using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Must have valid driver’s license, and provide proof of automobile insurance coverage. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hand and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and depth perception.

Facility Maintenance Technician

Full-time

REQUIRES VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, VEHICLE INSURANCE, AND THE USE OF YOUR OWN TRUCK. Will be compensated with a mileage allowance.

Should have own set of tools but company would help you to get what you need.

Candidates should have experience in Basic Building Maintenance to include but not limited to the following:

Painting
Repair Work
Doors
Windows
Sheetrock
Ceiling Tile Replacement
Masonry
Installation
Other experience in Demolition, Renovations/Finish Outs and Framing would be helpful.

Candidate would need the following attributes to be successful at DBox.

Good Communication skills, written and verbal

Strong attention to detail
Good Analytical skills
Works well with a team or individually with little supervision
Strong knowledge and use of basic safety skills
Ability to learn Dispatch System through the use of a mobile phone
Ability to fill out work orders for billing

Maintenance jobs would be performed at different locations in a particular territory of the DFW
Metroplex as assigned by a Area Supervisor. On occasion the Maintenance Tech might have to fill in for a Porter.
